La soluci\u00f3n consiste en aumentar la renovaci\u00f3n de aire interior con aire exterior sin utilizaci\u00f3n de instrumentaci\u00f3n, es decir, abriendo ventanas y puertas para provocar un flujo de aire. La ventilaci\u00f3n cruzada, consistente en la apertura de ventanas y puertas en lados opuestos de la habitaci\u00f3n, es m\u00e1s efectiva que la apertura en un solo lado y por tanto preferible. En muy pocas ocasiones se alcanza la ventilaci\u00f3n suficiente sin ventilaci\u00f3n cruzada. Las condiciones ambientales exteriores influyen en la ventilaci\u00f3n efectiva. Para una misma configuraci\u00f3n de ventanas y\/o puertas, la ventilaci\u00f3n puede variar, especialmente en d\u00edas ventosos. Se pueden realizar pruebas con diferentes configuraciones de apertura de ventanas y\/o puertas.
